Gene and Delphine Zaboroski Scholarship
The Cypress Historical Society Gene and Delphine Zaboroski Scholarship Fund was set up in 2014, 6 years after the formation of the Historical Society and 9 years after the Zaboroskis donated the park to the County.
Since that time the Society has been proud to have awarded 13 scholarships amounting to over $15,000 to deserving CFISD senior students. Over those years each of the awardees has volunteered their time to CHS and by doing so have helped to preserve the history of
Cypress and the community in which they live.
These scholarships are available due to the generous donations we have received along the way. We welcome any CFISD senior to volunteer and apply for the scholarship that is awarded on a yearly basis.
The scholarship is awarded in May of each year, applications are due on April 15. Prior year’s application is included for reference. Application for the 2027 award will be posted in early 2027.
