As part of our ongoing efforts to reduce expenses and be good stewards of the funds that our donors provide, we’ve decided to stop participating in the near annual price increases of the USPS,

Nothing good comes easy, however, and there have been some glitches with beginning to receive our mail at our physical location. There has ALWAYS been a mailbox, and both CHS and the Juergen’s Hall Community Center have received some amounts of mail. We are finding, however, that somewhere in the bowels of the USPS system, there’s a note that we can’t receive mail. It may take some time for that to get removed.

Several of our members have received their membership renewals back. Michelle Christie has gone to the Post Office and spoken with their staff about this, she’s seen them make a note in the system. We’ve received stacks of mail in the mailbox. And still…some mail is being rejected.

It is our hope that this gets resolved quickly. In the meantime, please be patient – do let us know if you get mail returned undeliverable to you.

If you’re wanting to renew your membership, you can do so here, online, using a credit card or your paypal account. That shifts the transaction costs to us (it’s small), and saves you from having to address an envelope and find a stamp.
